Electric vehicles are gathering more and more attention everyday and it seems that this green cars club is set to receive a very cool new member. We are talking about the SLS E-Cell Roadster, a vehicle that is currently being considered by Mercedes.
The German carmaker recently confirmed that it will get the SLS E-Cell Coupe into production next year and now autovisie writes that the company is also looking at building a topless version of the electric SLS.
Mercedes is obviously going to analyze the coupe’s market success and, if this reaches a certain level, it will also release a roofless version of the car. We’ll remind you that the SLS E-Cell is powered by four electric motors that offer an overall output of 533 hp and 649 lb-ft (880 Nm), being able to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint on 4 seconds flat.
