Mercedes SLS AMG Enters Fashion World

Mercedes-Benz recently commissioned fashion designer Gareth Pugh and photographer Nick Knight to create a visual campaign for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin, which also features the German carmaker’s new Gullwing. The SLS AMG was, in fact, Julia Stegner’s partner during the photoshoot.

The German model was wearing a futuristic outfit designed by Pug, which was in perfect symbiosis with the design of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Julia is not at her first collaboration with the three-pointed star brand. The beautiful blonde also posed in a new visual together with the Mercedes-Benz CLS 350 CGI Grand Edition in outfits by Anne Valerie Hash, for last year’s event.

As for the other ‘model’ in question, the new Gullwing features a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine that produces 563 hp and 650 Nm of torque. This powerplant enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).

"Having a vision and breathing life into it is an essential part of the Mercedes-Benz success story. Driven by a passion for design, technology and materials and an instinct for style and the spirit of the times, innovative designers develop their creations,” Anders Sundt Jensen, Vice President Brand Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars, said in a release.

“And innovation is just as vital in fashion as it is in car design. Forward-looking design is always a combination of exceptional ideas, a personal signature and an unmistakable style - the key characteristics of Mercedes-Benz," Jensen added.
