The battle for the most powerful naturally aspirated supercar is heating up, despite claims that the future is in turbocharging. There are rumors that the hot 458 Monte Carlo will have 620 hp, and Mercedes should also have an answer in the form of the SLS AMG Black Series.
The car is doing more than it fair share of Nurbugring tests, enough for people to take a really good look. Based on the most recent spyshots, graphic design artist Wild-Speed has concocted a set of rendering showing what the beefed up Mercedes will likely look like.
The Black Series has hugely flared weelarches making room for bigger tires and a wider track. At the back, a wing has sprouted up to give more traction on the track. This might not be to everyone’s taste and will likely be an option, just like the C63 AMG that only gets a wing in the aero package.
Ceramic brakes are a given, and so is a very stiff suspension and sticky semi-slick tires for the track.
