We though the three-pointed star's engineers had all left for northern Sweden in order to develop the facelift of the ML, but it seems road testing is taking place at the same time in Germany.
Normally a Porsche spotter/fan, DrGumoLunatic has the advantage of also being able to film Mercedes' finest right there in his home town.

A prototype with camouflage still covering its entire body was seen in the district of Boblingen, near Stuttgart. The M-Class is undergoing a major cosmetic transformation right now, and will have a softer-edged look similar to that of the S-Class.

For the very first time, we are able to see that a single-bar grille has been adopted, with more changes to the bumpers, lights and skirts updating the look of the SUV.

We have no clear information about what happening with the SUV's engine range. However, we should see the new 3-liter biturbo introduced on the ML 400, with an available 333 hp.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
