In order to celebrate the company's success, which we don't need and don't want to argue, the Germans have decided to offer an "Illuminated Star" emblem as part of their accessory range on more vehicles.
Already available for the M and GL Class SUVs, the optical fiber white LED-lit tri-star emblem will be extended starting next month for the C, CLS, and E Class models.
The shiny emblem is activated only when the car is unlocked and the engine stops, as well as when the doors or trunk are opened, and it goes off 15 seconds after you close them. Some fancy Dubai stuff, huh?
