We often think of Brabus as this mystical maker of "the fastest Mercedes X or Y model in the world". But they are so much more than that, especially in the customization department.
Brabus tuning is about creating status symbols, it's about giving those hardcore Mercedes fans with really deep pockets a chance to go toe to toe with supercars. But as cool as their thousand horsepower monsters are, they would look shabby without the sea of immaculate leatherwork inside.
So we wondered, what does it take to cover a big Mercedes interior in red leather? Well, a lot apparently, as this next photo gallery will prove. A white Mercedes-Benz GL-Class was taken under the caring wing of Brabus Middle East, where it was covered from head to toe using fine leather and alcantara.
When we say "covered" we mean really mean it, as even the headliner and the inside of the boot lid were covered. You've got to remember, the GL-Class is a full-size SUV measuring over 5 meters, so this is like creating a tuxedo for a whale and getting it perfectly tailored.
