Crash videos are childish and stupid, so, of course, we love them. Back in the 70s, truckers would tell you crash stories, gesturing like the pilots from Top Gun. But nowadays, everybody can buy a dash camera and post stuff on the Internet.
Russia remains the most entertaining source of crash footage, partly because everybody has cameras, but also due to the stupidity of the drivers.

Did we say "stupidity"? It's more like rage mixed with bad judgments. Many of the G-Class drivers in this video really do consider themselves kings of the road, which is to be expected when you can spend €100,000 on one car in an impoverished country.

We don't need to tell you that the G-Class weighs well over two tons and is top-heavy. All you need to do is look at it and you'll know it doesn't handle like the S-Class. It's all made from recycled railway iron and handles like a locomotive (doesn't like to steer).

Many owners like to tell you that it's the ultimate off-road machine and that it cannot be stopped. However, they won't tell you about the play in the steering wheel.

The G-Class is one of the few vehicles we've tested that's so tall you can't see the roof. That makes it prone to tipping over, which happens quite a lot in this video.

You'd think the owners have noticed the horrible handling at high speed and won't race through an intersection without giving way. But no, and the results are obvious... since this is a crash video.

You can get the G-Class with a 563 horsepower twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8. In a straight line, it goes like a Porsche Cayman. But if the brakes on a BMW X5 have trouble in the wet, this thing is catastrophic. As a result, many Gelandewagen owners end up rear-ending people.

Of course, there are all sorts of scenarios happening here. Some people even cause the crash intentionally, believing their "German tank" makes them invulnerable. But the cool part is that you're never wondering which vehicle is about to crash since it's always the one shaped like a box.
