The Mercedes G-Class has been nothing short of a revolution, not only as a form of transportation but also a personal statement. The Germans make all sorts of versions these days, ranging from diesels to 6x6 monsters. However, that doesn't stop anybody from taking things further… or too far.
Today, we are bringing you the latest custom kid from a German tuner called A.R.T. and called the streetline 65 Wide Body. It's about as ugly as a war wound, and that might put some people off, which is why very few have even seen this bad boy.

From the front, we immediately notice how the headlights were replaced with double lenses on each side. It's not what you'd call a pretty transformation, especially when you notice similar elements were installed at the bottom of the bumper, three at a time. And here we thought SUVs were supposed to keep all their vulnerable bits up top.

This package also includes a set of fender flares, side steps a roof spoiler and a wide range of further equipment.

The one redeeming feature is under the bonnet, since the G65 served as the basis and had its power bumped to 749 horsepower. Using ECU wizardry, the G63 AMG can also be improved upon and brought to 681 PS.

With additional modifications, the A.R.T. G streetline 65 Wide Body can also be adapted to the G55 AMG, G500, G400 and G350. Versions for vehicles with short wheelbase or convertibles are available on request. With that being said, we leave yo to admire one of the ugliest G-Wagons ever made and consider the fact that some women find Mickey Rourke attractive.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
