When American tuner Hennessey Performance releases a power kit for the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG and calls it the “HPE700”, we immediately take notice!
That’s because after an extensive engine mod program, they managed to get 700 horsepower from the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 built by AMG. It also makes one awesomely solid and muscular sound if you’re into that sort of thing. According to the dyno figures, the E63 AMG also makes 800 lb-ft of torque, which is an amazing figure.
In case you were wondering, the figures were obtained using 93 octane US fuel, and the E63 AMG is no longer California emissions compliant.
The HPE700 kit comes with the following elements:
• HPE Air Induction System Modification
• HPE Engine Management Calibration
• Professional Installation
• HPE Engine Management Calibration
• Dyno Tuning
• Hennessey Exterior Badging
• Serial-Numbered Dash & Engine Plaques
• 3 Year / 36,000 Mile Limited Warranty Available
