It seems a tad excessive that Mercedes invested a billion Euros into a simple facelift for the E-Class until you realize this isn't a simple facelift. The changes made to the E63 AMG, for example, almost make it a brand new car.
From the front, this uber-Merc is almost brand new, every panel being upgraded to satisfy more modern design requirements. AMG also found a few extra horses in the 5.5-liter V8 which they fitted to the new S-Model.
But even the 585 hp on offer from the factory weren't enough for one owner, who not only wanted the coolest but also the most powerful E-Class on the street. The owner thus needed a one-stop-shop and he found it in Wheelsandmore.
These tuners immediately examined the brand new E63 AMG S-Model and found they could take it from 585 hp all the way to 700 hp and a booming 1100 Nm of torque. This was done by changing the exhaustwith flap-controlled sport mufflers and a CRP-F1-kit and tuning the ECU map.
Cosmetically, the facelift E63 is very beautiful, so Wheelsandmore only made minor changes. They first lowered the suspension by 30 mm and then fitted a set of their 20-inch 6Sporz forged alloy wheels in a color combination to match the body.
Thus, this mighty E63 was born, and they dubbed it the "Seven-11".
