Mercedes E Klasse Miniatures and Accessories

The initial showroom  success of Daimler's new Mercedes E Klasse line has inspired the German manufacturer to release a special edition of miniatures and accessories intended, as the manufacturer says, "to shorten the waiting time for the original".

The miniature E Klasse comes in three scales, 1:18, 1:43 and 1:87, two equipment lines- Avantgarde ( available only for scales 1:18 and 1:43) and Elegance, as well as in three paint finishes for every model.

The largest miniatures on a 1:18 scale are made by Minichamps and cost 59.90 euro. The 1:43 scale models are made by Schuco, and come at a price of 27.90 euro. Busch created the smallest of the miniatures, the 1:87, priced at 15.90 euro.

In addition to the miniatures, mercedes brings range of fashionable clothing and accessories also intended to mark the launch of the new medium class vehicles. The range include everything from polo shirts and various leather items to tie-clips and a special wristwatch.

Part of the Mercedes Benz Collection, the miniatures and every other adjacent accessory can be found here. The webpage includes all eleven new selections and a 224 page catalogue, also available at Mercedes partners.

Upon its launch, the new E Klasse attracted some 350,000 visitors to showrooms and received no less than 50,000 orders. The E is an important part of Daimler's plan to exit unscaved from the crisis. As Klaus Maier, executive vice president sales and marketing Mercedes-Benz Cars says, "the E-Klasse is of special importance to Mercedes-Benz: it is and will remain the ‘heart’ of the Mercedes-Benz brand and expresses its core values in an exemplary manner."
