Mercedes E 63 AMG Gets More Features

Recently, we have been flooded with news from the upper battlefield of the German Power War.

While the BMW M5 and the Audi RS6 have reached the end of their life cycles (the current generations are going out of production), Mercedes’ E 63 AMG, which has been introduced at the beginning of last year, is set to receive some extra comfort goodies.

The upper section of the 525 hp car’s dashboard is now finished in ARTICO leather, with the same material is also being used for the door beltlines. In addition to that, the center console has received black piano lacquer trimming for the area surrounding the AMG Drive Unit. These features are offered as standard, coming with no extra cost.

However, if you want to spend your money on some new optional “feel-comfy” features, you don’t have to worry, Mercedes has prepared something for you.

As part of the optional designo extended leather appointments II range the lower section of the dashboard, the glove compartment lid, the door linings including map pockets and the side upholstery of the centre console come finished in exclusive nappa leather. Ticking this box will set you back EUR4,700, but the spending doesn’t stop here. The option is only available in conjunction with the extended designo leather appointments, in which the upper section of the dashboard and the upper door linings are finished in designo black leather (2856 euros).

Those opting to combine both of these designo options will receive exclusive, perfectly finished full leather appointments designed to significantly enhance the vehicle's interior,” stated the press release.
