The Mercedes Benz CLS is one of the most beautiful shapes that the German automaker has at its disposal, and we were really glad to see they didn’t ruin it with a shooting brake back end when the concept was revealed back in 2010.
Since then, Mercedes has confirmed they are indeed going to produce it, and some prototypes have even been spotted testing on the road. However, the version we’re really interested in is the full AMG, packing all the turbocharged goodies you can want.
That’s why we were really excited to see this rendering created by PS-Garage graphics designed Dan Buzdugan, which takes the concept photos into a different world of big AMG wheels and quad exhausts.
The four-door coupe AMG version of the CLS already exists, and it packs quite the punch from its twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8, capable of producing 525 horsepower. This sprints from 0-62 Mph (0-100 Km/h) in 4.4 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h).
