We’re all sick and tired of the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” cliche being used in automotive commercials. Mercedes-Benz is well aware of this, which is why the carmaker has chosen an entirely different approach when creating the latest ad for the CLA, entitled “wolf”.
This is a TV commercial for the new Mercedes CLA and it aims to show that the “baby CLS”, as the vehicle was unofficially called before its release, is different from everything else we’ve seen.
We won’t spoil the fun by telling you what happens in the ad, but we can reveal that the footage includes a whole flock of amusingly-colored sheep and, of course, a big, bad wolf.
Before you hit the button we’ll remind you that the CLA brags with the title of the world’s most aerodynamic production car, as its BlueEFFICIENCY Edition comes with a drag coefficient of 0.22. The compact four-door coupe also comes with a multitude of standard features, including a radar-gifted Collision Prevention Assist system.
