Nowadays, any good exhaust system, be it OEM or belonging to the aftermarket world, has to come with valves that control the sound, so there’s no need to compromise the pleasure or the comfort.
We’ve brought you a clip that shows the difference in sound between the two settings. The hardware used for the demonstration is a sweet piece of machinery, the Mercedes C63 AMG, with the video including two of them.

As for the exhausts featured in the clip, these come from iPE Innotech Performance. You don’t even need to climb into the rev range to notice the difference, as this becomes obvious from idle speed.

We’re inviting you to turn up the volume before you hit the “play” button, as this video is not just educative, it’s also entertaining.
