Mercedes C63 AMG vs BMW M3: iPE Exhaust Battle at 170 dB

The naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine in the Mercedes C63 AMG already comes with a very strong voice when it leaves the factory, but if you fit it with an aftermarket exhaust, this turns into a pleasure-generation monster.
We’ve got the perfect example for that, which comes from iPE Exhausts: a C63 AMG gifted with iPE Evolution Valvetronic Exhaust System. We’re usually advising you to turn up the volume before watchign a clip like this, but this time it would be better if you did the opposite.

Why? Well, the car can climb up to a mind-exploding 170 dB when the driver opens the special valves included in the package, as shown in the adjacent video. That;s the sound intensity of a turbo jet plane engine, people!

The full system includes a long equal length header, cat pipe, X pipe and Valvetronic muffler with titan tips. Thus, you can leave the valves closed and then you’ll even be able to use this as a surveillance car. Oh, and there’s also an M4 in the clip, which is wearing an iPE F1 Evolution Valvetronic exhaust.

What are you saying about the law? We really can't hear you over the sound of that V8!
