600 hp on a car with roof racks? Now that’s what we call cool! What is the source of this coolness, you ask? German tuner Edo Competition, which has recently released a new power upgrade for the Mercedes C63 AMG estate.

The naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 has been gifted with sports air filters, a high performance exhaust with high-slow catalytic converters, as well as a new ECU map. The unit has been boosted from its factory output of 457 hp and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) to 600 hp and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft).

The tuner went all the way and removed the electronic speed limiter and thus the family vehicle can now hit 340 km/h (211 mph). As for the connection to the road, this is established via a set of 19-inch multi-piece wheels that use Michelin rubber.

Climbing aboard, we find goodies such as carbon fiber trimming, a leather finish and others, with the tuning allowing customers to choose from a long list of special materials.

PS: Don’t forget to wink to supercar drivers when you overtake on the Autobahn.
