Mercedes C-Klasse Gets Extra Power from Kicherer

Competition in the car tuning industry is getting tougher each day, and Kicherer is not standing back from showing what they’re made of. Their latest project is a Supersport Performance Package destined for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, aiming to show what is top class tuning all about.

So what have the tuning team from Stockach prepared with the Kicherer C63 Supersport? Starting with discrete styling changes that also improve the aerodynamic functions and ending with the performance upgrades, the car somehow disappoints. With just a few horsepower more than the standard model, it’s clearly below the Avus version (585HP) and the 565 HP delivered by Carlsson’s.

Kicherer’s C63 AMG’s removed the Vmax-block and allowed the engine to produce around 550 HP and a maximum torque of 630 Nm... so you judge for yourself. The engine received a cover with carbon fibre inlays, while adding a limited slip differential with adjustable hardness and a variable barrier effect as well as a high performance adjustable coil over.

The Supersport has been equipped with 20-inch RS-1 forged wheels with 245 front tires and 275 rear tires and an advanced Brembo braking system. The chassis has also been refined and exterior styling changes included a front carbon grill, a new front skirt with integrated carbon flaps and LED daylight driving lights.

Other changes include expanded metal rear wings, carbon mirror covers, a new sideskirt with integrated carbon tubes and a rear carbon diffuser. As for the interior, Kicherer offers an ergonomic sports steering wheel in leather and carbon along with a footmat set with real leather trim. Unfortunately, pricing on the tuning package has not been announced yet, but as far as we know, it will not come in cheap...
