Mercedes C-Klasse Coupe Launches in June

Less than a month separates the over-enthusiastic Benz fans from what is expected to be another chapter in the life of their favorite brand: the launch of the new C-Klasse coupe. Set to enter the market at the perfect moment (this year Mercedes is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the creation of its – and the world's – first car), the new coupe plans to establish itself as a leader in its segment.

For the European market, where the new model will be launched next month, Mercedes prepared a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines: C 220 CDI BE, C 250 CDI BE, C 180 BE, C 250 BE and C 350 BE.

As you can see, regardless of the choice of engine, all future buyers of the new C-Klasse will benefit from the array of technologies Mercedes likes to call BlueEFFICIENCY (BE). This means your future Benz will be equipped, as standard, with technologies that spell direct injection and the ECO start/stop function. For the more pretentious of the clients, all these features can be enhanced by the 7G-TRONIC PLUS seven-speed automatic transmission.

And since this is a Benz, all should know that no corners have been cut and no expenses have been spared when it came to fitting the car with everything the driver and passengers would need, and at times even more.

Safety in the new C-Klasse coupe is guaranteed by the nine airbags which come as standard, while the ease of operation is insured by systems like ATTENTION ASSIST and DISTRONIC PLUS.

Below is the list of prices for which Mercedes is selling the new coupe version of the C-Klasse:

  • C 220 CDI BE (6-speed, mechanical) - EUR37,455
  • C 250 CDI BE (6-speed, mechanical) – EUR41,174
  • C 180 BE (6-speed, mechanical) – EUR33,290
  • C 250 BE (7G-TRONIC PLUS) - EUR41,174
  • C 350 BE (7G-TRONIC PLUS) - EUR47,540.
