The peeps from Carlex Design are known for being among the European kings of interior car customization, especially if it involves cow hide. Lot and lots of cow hide. Miles of it.

So much cow hide, in fact, that there must be thousands of Indian petition sites against Carlex - or at least we think so.

Just imagine the number of square meters of leather that engulfs this Mercedes-Benz cockpit, which comes from what is probably the baddest production off-road truck on the planet – the Zetros 1833 4x4.

With the rest of the car transformed into a luxurious go-anywhere camper van, the poles from Carlex Design made sure to transform the cockpit into something that is almost in the same territory as the "Opulence, I has it!” guy from the DirecTV commercial.

We can't say that we find it too kitschy, despite being almost as ostentatious as a Lady Gaga outfit, but we can't brag with ourselves as being men of style either. Plus, beauty is usually (not always, mind you) in the eye of the beholder.
