After Mercedes-Benz appeared in Britain's Coolbrands list for the first time in 2012, in this year's top they made it all the way to 11th place overall, which makes them the highest ranked full-line car maker – with th outright winner being, as usual, Apple.
The 2013/2014 survey chose from more than 10,000 independently-identified brands and saw Mercedes-Benz climb no less than five places since last year's debut.

“Mercedes-Benz is breaking one sales record after another in the UK – we’re the fastest-growing premium manufacturer, and AMG is the UK’s fastest-growing high performance brand. Our showrooms around the country are full of the coolest cars we’ve ever made, and we’re tireless in our efforts to bring more innovation, style - and great service of course - to more customers than ever before.” said Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO Mercedes-Benz UK.

The Coolbrands list is has been made for twelve years straight and is essentially a vote that combines the choices of 3,000 consumers and a panel of 37 designers, style experts and media personalities from the world's of fashion and television.
