Automotive producers have started looking into the tuning world and are making efforts to integrate some of the goodies that this has to offer into their own business. The latest example of this comes from Mercedes-Benz and AMG, which have introduced a gold wrap for the cars used at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival.
The German carmaker claims that it has used this as a tribute to the awarding of the 65th Plame d’Or (Golden Palm), but to out eyes, it looks just like a wrap job done in the Arab world.

Not only does Mercedes provide transportation for VIPs using a fleet of AMG-powered vehicles, but the company is also holding test drive sessions that allow participants to experience its cars on the French Riviera.
