The retail volumes for the month sit at 23,648 cars, which translates into a sales boost of 22.5% over July 2012.

The most impressive numbers for the German car maker are the year-to-date sales which, at 165,598 units, represent an all-time high in the United States.

Counting the Sprinter Vand and smart sales as well, the grand total fot Mercedes-Benz USA sits at 182,315 vehicles sold year-to-date, making July the seventh consecutive month of record sales in 2013.

“July delivered double-digit gains for both our passenger cars and light truck offerings, as our sales momentum shows no signs of slowing down," said Steve Cannon, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA. “We have two major product launches - one at the high-end and one at the entry - around the corner. This will be a banner year for the brand, bringing a whole new level of quality and innovation to Mercedes-Benz and the luxury market.”

The July sales growth jump was seen across the entire line-up, but the best numbers were achieved by the C-Class with an increase of 34.3%, followed closely by the E-Class (+10.1%) and the M-Class (+72.7%).
