Mercedes-Benz UK Offers Free Accident Recovery For All Their Drivers

The folks at Mercedes-Benz seem to have a really “Good Guy Greg” approach to most things these days, if we were to judge just a few of their latest... let's say social endeavors.

First they sent not just one but two convoys of supplies for Syrian refugees, then they included a QR code with relevant information about each of their car's safety features for rescue teams and didn't even bother to make a patent application so that other car makers can use the technology free of charge.

Their latest “for the people” decisions was made by the Mercedes-Benz UK arm, who starting from now will offer complimentary accident recovery to all Mercedes-Benz car drivers, 24 hours a day and regardless of the vehicle's age mileage or who is at fault for the accident.

In other words, if you crash your Mercedes-Benz anywhere in the UK you should rest assured that the car will be recovered free of charge by a Mercedes-Benz Service Platform.

“We are very proud to be able to offer this service to all Mercedes-Benz drivers during their time of need. Having an accident can be stressful, so by recovering the vehicle free of charge, we hope to take one element of worry away from our customers.” says Sally Jones, Customer Services Director Mercedes-Benz Cars at Mercedes-Benz UK.

Mercedes-Benz car drivers from the UK can call the Customer Assistance Centre on 00800 1 777 7777, toll free, to arrange recovery to a Mercedes-Benz Approved Bodyshop.
