As we were mentioning in the last few weeks in every W205-related news, the upcoming fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is nearing its launch date.
The most recent reports were suggesting an unveil at the North American International Auto Show in January 2014, but the following video teaser would suggest the car might actually be revealed a lot earlier than expected, with the upcoming LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show being a distinct possibility.
As expected, the car's exterior design will be very much derived from the “Sonder Klasse” (Special Class in German), getting back to the model's design roots implemented by Bruno Sacco, while the interior will offer a design mix between the S-Class W222 and the A/CLA/GLA-Class.
As far as cockpit materials go, the new C-Class W205 is expected to become the new segment leader, with a great deal of aluminium inserts, a new touch-pad control interface, an optional Burmester high-end audio system and an overall high-class atmosphere.
We've already told you all the details about the upcoming model – at least those known so far – and we know that the new C-Class will be larger, lighter and much more upscale than the current generation.
