Remember the heavily camouflaged UFO Mercedes-Benz was testing around at the end of last year? Well, that thing is real and the automaker will unveil it at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this January.
We know that because Mercedes teased its Facebook fans with the car's silhouette in a post along with a caption reading “The future will be bolder than you've ever imagined. #mbCES”.

Can't really tell what they were referring by saying “bolder” but that smooth teased roofline says nothing about aggressive shapes or a mean looking machine at all. In fact, it takes us closer to imagining a future MB Prius-fighter.

But that's about all you can tell. We tried lighting up the picture, but nothing else got revealed. It's a five-door highly aerodynamic low-slung hatchback. The front end seems to wear a rather big gaping grille while the rear sports a uni-taillamp like that on the Coupe SUV Concept.

Oh, there's another thing. This concept will be unveiled at CES on January 5th which means it has some extras. There's a big possibility the car will be electrically powered, even using a fuel cell. Then we remembered Mercedes is spending money on autonomous car technology (remember the self-driving truck?) so that can be implemented here as well, since the S Class model now is fully capable of staying in between the lanes at any speed with no human help.
