Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 & Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Sound Dogfight

The racetrack is probably the best place you can go if you want to experience engine sounds that make every cell in your body vibrate. This is because race cars face lighter limitations than those imposed on the street and the track offers enough space for drivers to push the engines to the limit.

The first’s V8 clearly wins the fight in terms of loudness, but then discussing about the tone, the flat six at the rear of the Porsche puts up a delicious fight.

You can watch the clip and decide for yourself which one sounds better while being manhandled on the track.
