How do 571 hp and 650 Nm sound when you’re rushing to get to an emergency site? The question doesn’t come from the little boy hidden inside us, but from Mercedes-Benz, which has introduced the SLS AMG Emergency Medical concept at the the RETTmobil 2011, an international forum for innovation, safety, quality, competence and training.

As you can see by reading the numbers above, the supercar has kept its standard tech side, but has been dressed in a special livery and packed with communication equipment, in order to cater for the needs of emergency services. This means that salvation will come in 3.8 seconds, with relief being brought up to 317 km/h (197 mph).

The automotive producer has introduced this development in order to raise awareness for its range of safety vehicles, with the company offering multiple goodies of this kind to the visitors of the event.

"Mercedes-Benz offers a variety of sources of information on mobility and training, which are also among the priorities of RETTmobil.
