Mercedes is completing the development of a new generation S-Class, but the tuning world still has plans for the current model, with the latest development based on the latter coming from MEC Design.
The tuner has recently released a program for the US-only S550 model, which offers a moderate level of modifications. The air suspension of the S-Class received an electronic lowering module that can bring the car closer to the road by up 60 mm (2.36 inches), while the car now rides on custom three-piece alloy wheels that uses a black silk finish for the center and gloss black finish for the lip. The rims come in a size of 21x10-inches up front, with 255/30 rubber, while at the back we get 21x11-inch rims with 295/30 tires.
In addition to that, MEC Design also fitted the S550 with a stainless steel exhaust system that uses a quadruple tailpipe layout. Climbing aboard, we find goodies like piano black trimming, a sports steering wheel and branded floor mats.
