This title is a bit funny, if you think about it, and we're not talking haha-funny here. No, it's more of the "oh, the irony" type of humor. Why? Because any Mercedes-Benz car is a dream car for most of us, that's why.
But let's step outside of our shells for a moment and try to have a look at what Mercedes-Benz put on the counter at this year's edition of the Geneva International Motor Show.

The main brand didn't have all that many novelties, the biggest of which being the new C-Class Cabriolet that was unveiled online one day ahead of its official physical debut. It is now the most accessible open-top model in the Mercedes-Benz range, a title that not very long ago belonged to the SLK (turned SLC). Now, the C180 Cabriolet that uses a 1.6-liter turbo engine is the entry-level convertible with a three-pointed star on the grille. The top C-Class Cabrio that money can buy now (well, not exactly now, but very soon) is the Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC Cabriolet, the roofless version of the old C450 AMG 4MATIC that has been rebranded after a little over a year in existence.

The C-Class was joined by another convertible, the Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC Cabriolet "Edition 130." Created to mark the 130th anniversary of the automobile, this special edition of an already exclusive open-top luxury vehicle was fitted with even more exquisite appointments.

Rounding off the convertible onslaught were the SLC and SL, both of which marked their European debuts after breaking cover earlier this year at the North American International Auto Show. Oh, and the stand also hosted the world's smallest cabriolet, the smart fortwo cabrio, which also had a few new things to show.

Making its first appearance on the Old Continent as well was the new E-Class, complete with the plug-in hybrid version called the E350 e. We've covered Mercedes-Benz's new mid-sized sedan extensively, but the main talking points are its new range of engines (modular, more efficient), its semi-autonomous technology (inspired by the F015 Luxury in Motion concept), and its beautiful design both on the outside and the inside (obvious comparisons with the C- and S-Class are in order).

Mercedes-Benz continues to deliver its new models one by one, and it appears there aren't enough important auto shows as there are models being cooked up in Stuttgart, so we shouldn't worry about seeing an empty Mercedes stand any time soon.
