The rather unaesthetic Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet in the above image is not real, thankfully, but just a rendering made by someone working for automotive customizers Evren Milano.
Being released on Facebook just hours after the first official photos of the gorgeous 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe C217, you can probably guess why it looks a bit like a half-assed job.

That is not the only problem we have with it though, but only the first of three, as Evren Milaon are apparently going to build it in real life.

  • First of all, it is well known and confirmed by Mercedes-Benz themselves that the S-Class Coupe will receive a convertible version in 2015, so why would someone buy one that hasn't been developed from the ground up by Mercedes-Benz?
  • Second of all, the omission of the three-pointed star from the engine grille and that bottom feeder mouth/double chin spoiler is not winning any hearts, we think.

Maybe we are a bit too harsh, but if we were rich sheiks we would probably wait one more year for the original model from Mercedes-Benz.
