Mercedes-Benz Releases Vito Limited Edition

German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz announced has created a limited edition for the Vito van, with the vehicle offering additional equipment worth $2,500 with no additional cost. The special edition is destined to the Australian market, with only sixty vehicles scheduled to be offered.

The Mercedes Vito has proved its capabilities on the country’s market and Mercedes has deiced to emphasize the van’s excellence by releasing this package. The vehicle will have a retail price of $55,940.

The normal Vito’s standard equipment list includes the following features:

  • Colour Coded Bumpers
  • Multifunction steering wheel
  • Roof Rails
  • 17 Inch Light Alloy Wheels
  • Luxury Folding Rear Seat
  • Window Tint to sliding doors and rear tailgate window

The new Special Edtion comes with the following “goodies”, which are offered free of cost:

  • The Unique Luna Grey Metallic paint
  • Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel and Gear shifter
  • Chrome Grille
  • Limited Edition Branding including the vehicle number (i.e. vehicle 8 of 60)
  • Limited Edition Gift Pack & certification of authenticity

The Vito has recorded a number of firsts recently, competing in the 2009 Classic Adelaide Rally and also being awarded five stars in the stringent ANCAP safety rating tests. The Vito has proven that it is not just Australia’s safest van, but one that can mix it with high performance exotica at Classic Adelaide.
