If you recently wondered why doesn't each of the new technologies pioneered by the latest Mercedes-Benz S-Class have a short film depicting its main advantages and how exactly its working its magic, the Germans have probably read your mind.
Not only that, but they also did something with that information, creating three (for now) nice 3d animations for each of the three most important safety technologies available on the new W222 S-Class.

The Pre-Safe Brake warns the driver if the risk of a collision with either another vehicle or a pedestrian is detected by the combination of three radars and a stereo camera system and, if there is no driver reaction, can reduce the car's speed right up to full emergency braking.

The BAS Plus with Cross-Traffic Assist can reduce the risk of rear end collisions and complement the braking pressure during emergency braking, while the Distronic Plus with Steering Assist is pretty much a semi-autonomous driving system. Check out the three videos below for the full explanation for each technology.
