Pretty much everyone knows by now that the extensive facelift that Mercedes-Benz instituted for the E-Class model family is the most expensive and most thorough mid-life refresh in the history of the automobile, with the one billion Euros invested being as much as the development costs for an entirely new car.
Available as a sedan, station wagon, coupe or a convertible, there's now an E-Class facelift for everyone. Even for fans of scale models, as Mercedes-Benz just released six new miniatures for the bread and butter of the brand, in cooperation with model car specialists iScale, from Kyosho Deutschland GmbH.
Recreated by using original CAD data in 1:43 scale, the model cars measure up to 11.4 centimeters (4.4 inches) in length and are assembled by hand from up to 68 individual parts.
Each model feature genuine paint finishes and interior colors, offering a total combination of 12 versions. Available either online from shop.mercedes-benz.de or from sales partners, each model car is priced at EUR 29.90 including 19% VAT in Germany.
