Fans of the original Silver Arrows have a new reason to expect this year's Christmas holidays, as Mercedes-Benz will launch a new TV Series on DVD and Blu-ray disc that showcases a unique melange of historic film scenes and modern re-enactments of their legendary history in motorsport.
Called “Magical moments. The hour of Silver Arrows”, the film series is an year-long project made by the internationally renowned film producer and until 2011 the Editor-in-Chief and managing director of Spiegel TV.

“At Mercedes-Benz Classic we not only made the exclusive vehicles of our collection available for this production, we also provided support with the unique knowledge contained in the Mercedes-Benz Classic archive and the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center, making the project possible,” says Michael Bock, Head of Mercedes-Benz Classic.

With a total playing time of no less than 500 minutes, the historically-accurate production should take viewers on a walk through the most impressive moments in Mercedes-Benz motorsport history, starting with the actual birth of the sport and extending to the present day, but you can see for yourself in the filled with adrenaline trailer bellow. We can't wait to check it out for ourselves when the series gets launched.
