Both the Mercedes-Benz ML 250 BlueTec 4Matic and the B 200 Natural Gas Drive are the new “Autotest Environmental Champions 2014”, according to a ranking that the Autotest product-testing magazine carried out with the ÖKO TREND institute for environmental research.
The institute's assessment is based on information relating to fuel consumption, pollutant emissions, the production process, logistics, recycling and the Mercedes-Benz environmental management systems.

Paired with the optional 93-liter tank, this translates into a range of 1600 km (994 miles) without refueling.
