The upcoming Mercedes-Benz C190 project is slowly coming along, with pre-production prototypes caught testing in various parts of the world in recent months.
The following spy photos were taken somewhere in Southern Spain, one of the few Continental Europe places where you can still find green vegetation along the road in this time of year.
With pretty much the same amount of body-cladding as previous pre-production prototypes, it's pretty hard to distinguish most design lines from the car, but we can tell that the taillights will be about as slim as the ones on the upcoming S-Class Coupe C117, while the overall design looks like what would be born nine months after an SRT Viper had a steamy encounter with a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
As you might already know, the new three-pointed star sports cars will slot under the SLS AMG in terms of power, performance and especially price, with its main competitors being the Jaguar F-Type Coupe, the Porsche 911 Carrera S, the Audi R8 V8 and even its future cousin, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage. The car will share parts of its platform with the SLS AMG, along which it will be manufactured in Sindelfingen.
