After watching the French "Sensations" blockbuster commercial for a few times and searching for more information about it on the Internet we found the following making-of video, which pretty much made us love the ad.
If at first it took a couple of second takes to truly appreciate all the imagery involved in the ad, after watching how the entire advert was made we have nothing but words of praise for the Frenchmen involved in its creation.
What we didn't understand was why did they use an A-Class instead of the GLA in the “lovers having a go at it” on the car's hood and why is the final shape of the car a GLA Concept instead of the series vehicle, which obviously looks a bit less hardcore than the concept car.
From what we gather, the ad was made by BBDO Paris and directed by Wilfrid Brimo. If you have about 14 minutes to spare it will be worth it, trust us.
