The 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLA was officially revealed earlier on today, after Mercedes' marketing plan for the car failed in less than 24-hours from its beginning.
The Germans had originally planned to make a teasing campaign for the new model, but it all went out the window after someone leaked quite a few official pictures of the A-Class big brother and future BMW X1 and Audi Q3 fighter sometime during last night.

A marketing damage control unit was probably pulled from their sleep and the production version of the Mercedes-Benz GLA was quickly released in press kit form, without all the bells and whistles that were originally planned.

Still, this doesn't mean that the car will only get a wooden language press release. The official launch will be at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show in September, but Mercedes-Benz has prepared quite a few videos of the car in motion until then.

The first footage on (and off) the road with the new GLA was released a bit earlier and now it's time for a more extended version, in which we can see the two types of body kits for the car more clearly.
