Compared to the W204 generation, the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 represents not a small step but a downright giant step in terms of the design and quality of the interior, but its exterior shape is not exactly bad itself.
Despite some people complaining that from afar it looks like a party-sized S-Class, in our view the new C-Class has enough distinctive details – especially in terms of proportions - that it would be hard to confuse it with its much larger brother.
Both the model's interior and exterior design is part of the new “sensual purity” design language, as Mercedes-Benz calls it, and the Germans recently uploaded a video to Youtube, where they try to explain the look of the new C-Class with the help of two of its designers.
For the exterior part we will be listening to Robert Lesnik, who also penned the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222, while for the interior we'll be paying attention to Michele Jauch Paganetti, who was in charge of the C-Class W205 gorgeous interior. Enjoy!
