The first W212 E-Class facelift with long wheelbase has rolled of the Chinese production line of the Beijing Benz Automotive Company Ltd (BBAC, situated in... drum rolls... Beijing, China.

And with the latest intelligent drive technology and two separate model lines conveying two distinct personalities, the new E-Class will continue its brilliant path in China and plays an important role in the rejuvenation of our product lineup.”
With 14 centimeters added to the wheelbase, the E-Class LWB offers much more leg room and the longest rear seat cushion in its segment. Like in the S-Class Long, passengers in the rear seat can control and adjust the front passenger seat and the panoramic seat electronically. The market launch for the car has taken place at the Chengdu Auto Show.
