Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy in the UK has joined forces with Pirelli and is fitting its fleet of A-Class vehicles with Pirelli Cold Weather tires in order to allows students to take full advantage of the driving experience.
The Academy allows students to be prepared for cold weather driving, offering lessons in in the controlled environment of Mercedes-Benz World’s Handling Circuits and advanced skid pan and aims to offer something for every driver.
“Cold weather tyres offer drivers extra grip in winter conditions,” he explains. ”Thanks to the tread pattern design and the ability of the compound to remain flexible at low temperatures, the grip in cold weather and on snow is significantly improved," explains Pirelli UK's Managing Director, Dominic Sandivasci.
