Mercedes-Benz CLS Rendering Takes Us to Another World

Now that Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the V8-powered AMG incarnation of the new CLS at this year’s edition of the L.A. Auto Show, we would like to take a few moments to remember the first generation of the CLS.

We’re not here to talk about a vehicle that has already been replaced. Instead, we wanted to offer you a vision of the car’s potential. We were sitting in the office today, wondering what would look cooler: the new CLS or the old one with a complete makeover.

Of course it was a little bit out of reach for us to acquire a first-generation CLS and start heavily modifying it, so we decided to turn to virtual reality instead. We started hitting the keyboards, searching the whole Internet for the ultimate first-generation CLS.

The result can be seen in the adjacent image - we’re curious to see if its just our little fantasy, or this creation really managed to bring a storm to one’s brain.

The virtual CLS revolution was created by a web user who goes by the nickname of RS-Design.

Here’s what the artist had to say about his work: “This is my vision of new Mercedes Benz CLS. I tried to incorporate some of the concept features of Distinct Mercedes Benz brand and design.”

And we have another question: we were wondering what the CLS’s competitors think about this? We know this is just pure fantasy, but we cant help dreaming that such a car could become a reality.
