Yesterday we gave you pretty much every piece of information available about the mid-cycle facelift for the Mercedes-Benz CLS Coupe and Shooting Brake.
Everything from the new interior bits, the small changes to the exterior, to the engine lineup and of course the innovative Multibeam LED headlights, but there is a small detail which Mercedes-Benz didn't divulge yet: its pricing.

Well, as it turns out, the Brits from Mercedes-Benz UK don't want to keep this type of information a secret anymore, as they recently released the official pricing for every upcoming CLS facelift model in the UK lineup.

For some odd reason, there are some changes to the engine range compared with the rest of Europe, so we will talk about those details first.

First of all, the UK doesn't get any of the 4Matic all-wheel drive models, as the architecture of both CLS models hasn't been configured to offer this type of traction with right-hand drive and it wouldn't be cost-effective to re-engineer it now.

Second of all, the CLS 63 AMG in both “regular” and Shooting Brake guise is no longer offered, its place being taken by the CLS 63 AMG S-Model variant.

Third of all, for a reason which evades us for the moment, the newly-introduced CLS 220 BlueTec variants offer 177 hp instead of the 170 hp that they do in the rest of Europe, but we have a feeling that it is actually a typo in the press release.

With that being said, these are the starting prices for all the Mercedes-Benz CLS facelift models in the UK:

  • CLS 220 BlueTEC – GBP 46,500
  • CLS 350 BlueTEC – GBP 49,950
  • CLS 400 – GBP 55,850
  • CLS 63 AMG S – GBP 86,500
  • CLS 220 BlueTEC Shooting Brake – GBP 48,080
  • CLS 350 BlueTEC Shooting Brake – GBP 51,400
  • CLS 63 AMG S Shooting Brake – GBP 87,000

Apparently, the refreshed models will be available for ordering from July, with the first delivers to start taking place in September.
