Mercedes-Benz CLA Range Gets Reviewed by Cars

Since the model was released on the US market last month, every major publication from the land of the free has started testing the smallest Mercedes-Benz in America, the CLA.

For the time being, the US will only get the CLA 250 in front-wheel drive guise, with the 4Matic all-wheel drive version to arrive next year. The fierce CLA 45 AMG will complete the “baby CLS” range in a few weeks.

Cars.com managed to have a go in both the Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 with front-wheel drive and the CLA 45 AMG and therefore reviewed both models in one take.

The only downsides they found with the CLA 250 were its high priced optional features and the fact that the suspension seemed a bit too harsh for US roads.

Starting from just USD29,900, the only front-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz in the United States comes with quite a bit of standard features, but if you want to stuff it with options than the price will escalate rather quickly.

The upsides, on the other hand, especially when thinking at the starting price and the sexy lines of the car will probably be worth it for its targeted customers though.

The CLA 45 AMG doesn't get its own review, as it should probably have, but you can check out Cars' review of the CLA range for yourself and squint your eyes for any information regarding the top AMG model.
