The frenzy with which US automotive publications and not only have jumped at test driving the Mercedes-Benz CLA in the recent six weeks or so has been off the charts.

Not that those charts would be too high anyway, since the model was only launched for sale in Europe about five months ago.

The model's US version hit the Yankee dealerships during the course of September though, and in just the first full month of sales it managed to jump right into third place in the top of best sold Mercedes-Benz models.

Featuring a host of never-before-seen features, especially on the American market, the CLA is bound to become one of the most desirable, if not best sold, three-pointed star models in the US.

We are talking about having the most aerodynamic body in the world, one of the sexiest exterior lines for a car its size and also being the cheapest Mercedes-Benz model you can currently buy in the land of the free. Speaking of which, the short Consumer Reports video bellow tries somewhat unsuccessfully, from our point of view, to bring up the model's high and lows.
