In yet another comparative test that comes from the land down under, the Mercedes-Benz C 200 was pitted against the BMW 320i, the Audi A4 1.8 T and the Lexus IS 250 newcomer, each of the cars representing the entry-level sedans in each manufacturer's lineup for Australia.
We hate spoilers, but we simply have to tell you that the Lexus won mainly because we don't agree with the conclusion that the Australian editors from Drive arrived at.
Each of the cars' review is done in a very professional matter, so we don't necessarily disagree with the way they were conducted. What we fail to comprehend is how the IS 250 would win against the German trio.
We should remind you that the Lexus IS 250 has a 2.5-liter V6 that is the most powerful engine in the group, yet the car is almost as slow as the 1.6-liter BMW 3-series. On top that, it's the biggest gas guzzler as well. Check out the video bellow for the full conclusions though.
