Mercedes-Benz Bus Days (Mercedes-Benz Omnibustage or MOT) is a bus industry event held every two years, where private bus operators and public transport users can find all the latest news, trends and services connected with the bus industry.
This year, from 7 to 11 November, the exhibition took place in Mannheim, and was attended by over 6200 visitors from more than 20 countries.
No less than ten vehicles were presented on the bus show, including the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, two variants of the Citaro public bus, the much-improved Intouro, the Mercedes-Benz Tourismo and the compact Tourismo K.
The ultimate touring coach in the Mercedes-Benz range, the Travego, was naturally present as well.
Since the first Travego Edition 1 was delivered at the end of 2012 , Daimler Bus sold more than 1000 Euro VI buses, with the total figure set to increase to about 1700 by the end of the current year.
