After having a blast in terms of 2013 sales in India, Mercedes-Benz made it to second place in the luxury cars segment, recently sprinkling their success with the highly-expected launch of the latest S-Class.
After two decades of presence in the country, the Germans added yet another milestone to their progress there by becoming the first luxury car maker to built 50,000 cars at their plant in Chakan.
To celebrate both this and the fact that the C-Class W204 series will soon be replaced by the recently-unveiled W205, Mercedes-Benz India has just launched the C-Class Grand Edition, which includes a number of special features to differentiate it from the regular model.
Available as either the C 220 CDI or the C 200, the C-Class Grand Edition comes with an AMG body kit, Grand Edition badges on the front fenders, 17-inch light-alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof and bi-xenon headlights in standard.
Its interior also comes in standard with an integrated navigation in the Comand system, illuminated mirrors for the sun visors and a rear-view mirror with an auto-dimming feature.
