Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG Tested by VadimAuto

The smallest AMG ever, whether we're talking about the engine size or the car's body itself, is also probably one of the Mercedes' that has stolen most of its customers from other car manufacturers.

We are, of course, talking about the A 45 AMG 4Matic. With 360 horsepower drawn by forced induction form a tiny two-liter four cylinder, the A45 is currently the car with the most horsepower per liter of displacement in the world. If you're not that good with math, that's 180 hp per liter.

The 360 hp and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) can help propel the compact battlecruiser from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds with the launch control function of the seven-speed dual clutch transmission, while the top speed is electronically limited to either 250 km/h (155 mph) or 270 km/h (168 mph), depending how much mone you are willing to spend. Even so, stranger things have happened with the “on the house version” of the electronic speed limiter.

Vadim Ovsiankin, a YouTube user with a passion for testing the latest cars and filming them for other car fans' viewing pleasure, didn't test the car's top speed but he did drive the AMG model in all types of scenarios: highway driving, city driving ,and, of course, b-road driving.

If you're a very fast reader you can see his observations in the following video. If not, you can still see and hear the A 45 AMG 4MAtic in all its glory.
